The St Luke's Art Project enables people, including those with mental health needs, to develop their art practice in a safe, comfortable space. The Art Project is organised by artist Alison Kershaw, along with a small team of professional artists.

We offer drawing and painting facilities and skills support. We also enable access to digital arts, including using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Indesign. These industry standard graphics package are not usually available for beginners, but we believe in allowing access to the best materials and facilities we can possibly provide.

Our media artist Rae also runs an Arts Council funded Audio art project "5 Ways to Listen" where participants use sound recording as the medium for exploring the world around us. They have played their audioscapes in London, Japan and locally via our Micro Radio Listening Post.

If you would like to be involved, just contact us to arrange a visit. The Art Project can even find an artist for your event who will work with your visitors on a creative project... simply let us know what you would like.
