The TLC St Luke's Art project is now closed
We run our own community publishing house - the Slap-Dash Publishing Project supports local people and artists to publish their artwork, poetry and literature, etc. We use Print On Demand, where books are available online to the public. We enable you to create a unique publication, but all distribution is via an online method (we do not provide a stock of printed books)
A copy of all our publications are housed within the British Library and given a unique ISBN number.
Due to the expense of this process and our limited resources, participants will need to contribute towards the costs of their first printed book and this is discussed at the outset and throughout the development of the publication. Costs depend on the type of book.
We are archiving local voices for future generations.
